Ha, oh well! Here are some pics from what we discussed for the choice of animals in the wilderness.









To me I feel it could be a nice touch of visual language, using simple semiotics to portray the message.

running away option

1) man begins to run; angry bear behind the man.

2) the bear catches up with the man.

3) man is beaten up by the bear.

i like them, i think the muzzle of the bear looks really good! wot im gona do is draw them up in illustrator with all the movable bits n make a file that i can give to you and kieron tomorrow so we're all ready for animating!

character movments

heres a quick mock up of the characters at different angles - theyd look neater when drawn up in illustrator. i also made a little animation on photoshop but my pc couldnt hack it and the whole thing just about crashed so ill c if i can get on the uni macs instead!

With our earlier discussion of how to address the illustration situation for the project, i thought drawing cartoonish bears maybe a good start. 

As you can see the process of maintaining the prominent features of the bear makes it recognizable(head, arms, body, etc). 

From that, i have also produced a cut-out illustration of the bear, my focus for this development was to have as much mobility in the character, so that animation can be done as quickly as possible.  

i created sum cartoon backgrounds which might work? youll have to excuse my man hes a bit rubbish!
